Fatai Anifowose joined Saudi Aramco in 2015 as a Research Scientist in the Geology Technology division of the EXPEC Advanced Research Center. He obtained his PhD degree in 2015 from the University of Malaysia in Sarawak, MS degree in 2009 from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia, and BTech in 1999 from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria, all in Computer Science. His career interweaves the Artificial Intelligence aspect of Computer Science with Reservoir Characterization aspect of Petroleum Geology. He has published over 50 papers, filed several patents, and received a number of R&D awards. He is a professional member of SPE, EAGE, DGS, and AAPG.
